You have the same goals for your child as any parent.

You want your child to grow to attain happiness, success and fulfillment in life.  You want your child to grow into a whole person that is able to form relationships and navigate daily life with confidence.  YOU want to be able to connect with your child, to guide them, to understand them. It is YOU that can have the greatest impact on your child’s development. Our team works to empower YOU to make the difference in your child’s life.

AUTISM IS NOT A BEHAVIORAL DISORDER

AUTISM IS A NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER

Throughout the history of autism treatment, there has been a primary focus on behavior and skills as though autism is a behavioral or skill based condition. We have relied on behavioral programs designed to promote and extinguish behaviors with little to no consideration for why these individuals may be exhibiting these behaviors and what they represent. Research has evolved, treatment should too. Autism is neurological disorder affecting the development of the brain. The brain is an experience dependent organ.

IF WE CAN CHANGE THE EXPERIENCE,

WE CAN CHANGE THE OUTCOME

If we can change the experience, we can change the outcome. Our team is certified in the Relationship Development Intervention® (RDI®) approach, developed by Dr. Steven Gutstein and Dr. Rachelle Sheely. The RDI® approach is a developmental model that empowers parents to become the primary agent in their child’s growth. RDI® is changing the story.

We’re committed to staying curious.

Our team is uniquely qualified to meet the complex and ever-changing needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. Working directly under Dr. Steven Gutstein (founder of RDI®) for the past six years as part of the development team, we have spent time intensively reviewing and understanding the latest research.

A huge thank you, Jennifer for your patience and for all you have done for our family!”
