ON TO NEW ADVENTURES
Shannon has been working at Developing Minds for the past 7 1/2 years. Shannon first became interested in working with children who have autism when she was in college, working as a nanny for 2 brothers who both had autism. Shannon also has a special needs brother and therefore has a lifetime of experience with the family dynamics involved with a child who has special needs.
Last year Shannon became certified in the Autism Navigator program. This program was developed by the Autism Institute at the Florida State University College of Medicine. She offers services to families using both RDI and/or the Autism Navigator platform.
Shannon is married with 3 children and enjoys attending all of their activities as well as events at the University of Georgia.
